After their January meeting, about 60 Cardiff brothers and their guests partook of a very enjoyable meal at the Angel Hotel, Cardiff, following which President Mark Johnson had organised for the group to entertained by BBC Radio Wales star comedian Owen Money. Owen spoke for almost an hour with a continuous flow of apocryphal tales of his early life in Merthyr Tydfil and later in Swansea and Porthcawl.  Owen has had an extensive career starting as singer in various pop bands, then on the comedy club circuit, summer shows in seaside resorts, particularly Blackpool, latterly starring in pantomimes and since 1987 he has had a regular radio show, Money for Nothing, on BBC Radio Wales
