Llandaff Ghost Walk

Ghostbusters

Just before Halloween, over 20 members and wives from Cardiff Circle spent a very interesting moonlit evening in the lanes and fields around Llandaff Cathedral learning the about the history of the Cathedral and being regailed with tales of the sightings of ghosts and spirits in and around the Cathedral. There were stories of ghosts of young children who had drowned in the nearby River Taff  and the White Lady who has been seen in numerous locations around the Cathedral. The walk was led by Jim Cowan a local historian who took the group along part of the medieval pilgrim route which led through Llandaff to the Cathedral at St David’s, the holiest shrine in Wales and again the group heard many stories and legends about sightings on the pilgrim’s route.
