Whilst the Catenian Association is not primarily a fund raising organisation, it has two main strands to its charitable activities:
The President’s Charity

The Bursary Fund
Each year the Circle President selects a charity (or charities) that he wishes to support during his Presidential Year. Money is raised by the Circle for the chosen receipients by events such as a golf day, auction, barn dance etc.
The Bursary Fund supports young people in projects for the benefit of others. It is administered centrally by the Association and is funded by voluntary contributions from members. One of the ways the Circles in Province 12 contribute to the Bursary fund is by the Gorman Cup.
