Following their post-meeting dinner on 21 March 2016, Cardiff Circle’s Vice President, Bro Peter Maunder, entertained the Brothers, Ladies and Guests present with a blind auction. Brothers had contributed the lots which they delivered to Bro Peter already wrapped, some cunningly to disguise the contents. Bro Peter then proceeded to auction off the items whilst giving his own hilarious opinions of what might be in the parcel and never of course quite getting it right. A very enjoyable evening was had by all with the added bonus that over £500 was raised for the President’s Charity, “forChrohns”.
