More Skittles and Curry for Cardiff

The Birchgrove pub was the location for Cardiff Circle’s fifth annual Skittles competition. The 35 brothers and ladies present gave no quarter in their quest to be best gentleman or lady. There was a break in the proceedings to consume yet another excellent curry provided by the pub to keep up the skittlers’ strength. After the meal the battle was re-joined and eventually the winners were announced. Angela Hamblin, wife of Bro Michael was declared the winner of the ladies’ competition whilst Bro David Maddox carried of the men’s title. Bro Chris Archer, last year’s men’s winner had obviously been resting on his laurels and took the booby prize.
