2015 Charity Golf Day

Children Benefit from Golf

Cardiff Circle held their annual Charity Golf Day at Llanishen Golf Club on 16 July 2015. Over 50 golfers took part in the competition on a glorious summer day and they were joined by wives and friends when almost 90 people sat down for the post golf meal. Llanishen GC Captain, Harold Taylor, welcomed all the competitors and diners with an interesting and amusing view of Catholicism from a Welsh Baptist view point. Cardiff Circle President, Bro John Edwards, thanked Llanishen Golf Club for hosting the day and Bro Paul Good for organising the event. Bro John was delighted to announce that that the amount raised for his chosen charity, NSPCC Childline, would be sufficient to train one new councillor. There were no Catenians in this year’s winning team of Jack McKee, Des Johnsom and Patrick Regan.
