Cardiff Retain the Trophy in Extra Time
For the second year in succession, Cardiff Circle entered two teams at the Province 12 Quiz held at the Fugitives RFC Club, Newport on Friday 19 October 2012. The “First Team” comprised members from both Cardiff’s previous year’s teams whilst the “Top Bananas” was made up of other Cardiff members and ladies led by President Mark Johnson. The end of the quiz produced a dead heat between the First Team and Newport Circle. A tie break question was called for and the First Team pipped Newport at the Post.
The First Team comprised Vickie & Bernard Adshead, Mike Halloran, Peter Sullivan and Jon Dartnell whilst the Top Bananas fielded Cherime & Mark Johnson, Julie & Joel Piacentini and John Hall.
