Christmas Comes late to Cardiff

After the success of their January Christmas dinner and party last year which was a result of the heavy snows, Cardiff Circle decided to again hold the event at the Angel Hotel in the first week of January when the Christmas rush had died down. Over 70 Brothers and visiting gentlemen, their ladies and other guests attended. After the meal, Bro Mark Johnson, Cardiff Vice-President, had organised a programme of entertainment including Irish Bingo, stand-up comedian Bro Peter Maunder, raconteur Bro Bill Potter and a “Guess which Circle Member the Beautiful Baby grew up to be” competition. A raffle was also held which raised £350 towards the President’s Charities – Cross Roads Care & Princess Royal Trust for Carers
