Cardiff Annual Clergy Night
Cardiff Circle recently held their annual Clergy Night at which they entertain the clergy from the Cardiff East & West Deaneries. The guest of honour was His Grace His Grace, The Most Reverend Peter Smith, Archbishop of Cardiff who was welcomed by President Ceri Davies. In his response, His Grace referred to the troubled times in which the Church found itself and asked the Catenians to continue their prayers and support for the Clergy. The Circle was unaware at the time that this would be the last time they would welcome Archbishop Peter as shortly afterwards he was appointed Archbishop of Southwark.
