The Wrong Kind of Snow
Cardiff Circle held their annual 2010 Christmas Dinner in January 2011 at the Angel Hotel in Cardiff – as Santa explained to the 70 Brothers, ladies, visiting gentlemen and guests, on the original date before Christmas we had had a deluge of the “wrong type of snow” and he was unable to get sleigh out of the garage. After an excellent meal, with traditional turkey and Christmas pudding on offer, those attending were entertained by the magical mysteries of the Great Regano (who looked remarkably like Bro John Regan) as well as a session of Irish Bingo and a Christmas Quiz. A draw for tickets for the upcoming Wales v England 6 Nations game raised £850 towards the President’s charity.
