Cardiff hits 1100
Cardiff Circle celebrated their 1100th Meeting in June. Whilst the meeting was in progress the Ladies were entertained by the Octavia Singers following which a very enjoyable meal was attended by just over 100 Brothers and their ladies from Cardiff Circle and a number of other Circles mostly in Province 12. President Peter Maunder welcomed all the guests and Provincial President Pat Burbidge responded with a toast to Cardiff Circle. The evening was rounded off with another set from the Octavia Singers accompanied by dancing for the more energetic. The President’s Charity, Cardiff Night Shelter, benefitted by £460 from the proceeds of the raffle.
